About Us

The Woven Rose Story

Nestled in the heart of Kibale, in the Rakai district of Uganda, lies a vibrant community of mothers whose strength and resilience inspire us every day. Woven Rose began as a small spark of an idea: a way to honor their unwavering spirit while creating something beautiful and meaningful.
My journey started with a single basket, handwoven with care, precision, and a deep connection to modern weaving artistry. These baskets & crafts are more than just products—they are vessels of hope, joy, and empowerment. At Woven Rose, I believe that every thread tells a story, and every weave represents my mission & vision.
